- Description
- Part of the 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel. Carousel horse No. 24, "James." "Jumper," back legs extended, front legs bent, erect neck, tucked in head, ears erect facing side, mouth open, minus carved tongue. Colour: Sorrel, with cream mane and tail, white blaze and stockings. Trappings: Olive green stipple saddle, with silver border. Corn cob on the back of the cantle. Saddle skirt has shield in pale blue, and silver vertical stripes and silver trim on white ground. Light yellow blanket has yellow border. Pale blue diamond quilted shoulder blanket with silver outlines and border. Pale olive green breast collar with yellow border, outlined with darker green. Pale blue bridle with silver concho.
