- Clear glass round-based jar with metal screw-on lid and hand-written paper label. Jar contains residue. Artifact is third from left in the photograph.

- Orange label with black text. Label contains 3 Chinese characters that are literally translated to: "white" and "plant root" and "powder". When adjusted for English comprehension, product is "Angelica dahurica". Angelica is is a perennial herb. Its roots are used as medicine. It is used to dispel coldness, stop pain, clear the nasal passage, reduce swelling and pus, and reduce itchiness. It is myogenic and promotes blood circulation. It is used to treat colds, headaches, rhinitis, toothache, and painful boils. It can also be used as a spice.
