- Orange label with black text Label contains 3 Chinese characters that are literally translated to: "cow/bull" and "silver" and "powder". When adjusted for English comprehension, product is "Nux Vomica, Strychnine tree seed powder". This medicine is made from the ripe seeds of nux vomica by removing the flesh of the fruit and drying the seeds. It is used to treat throat/pharyngeal pain, swollen ulcers, arthralgia due to wind, bone fractures, paralysis of facial nerves, and myasthenia gravis (weakness of skeletal muscles).
