- The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics. Clear glass stopper bottle, rounded base, with glass stopper. The bottle is empty. Rectangular, gold label under glass (LUG), commerically printed, with black text is attached to the front. Smaller, red, commerically printed label under glass (LUG) attached below.
