- Bottle of Elix. Triple Brom. Clear glass bottle with ground glass stopper, gold coloured commercial label, (LUG) label under glass. Bottle is mostly empty with a trace of red liquid at the bottom of the bottle. The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics. Bottle has a cylindrical shape.
