Scope and Content

Photograph of repairs in progress for one of the horses from C.W. Parker no. 119 carousel. Carousel horse is in pieces, including head, top of saddle, and body. Some carousel horses were in such poor condition, they had to be taken apart, repaired and put back together. Restoration work on the C.W. Parker no. 119 carousel took place at the Texaco warehouse located at the base of Burnaby Mountain on Burrard Inlet.
