- The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics. Clear glass bottle with a glass stopper and LUG (label under glass). Contains small amount of white powder. Round McDowell label on the back. Bottle has round base.
