- Short Cuts to Home Sewing - Booklet -- [1930]. Booklet produced by the Singer Sewing Machine Company Incorporated on Short Cuts to Home Sewing: The Modern Singer Way. The booklet is from the Singer Sewing Library - No. 1. The front cover of the booklet has an illustration of two women, one sitting in front of the Singer Sewing Machine, the other standing above looking at the machine. Handwritten on the front cover is "F.A. Gray". On the back cover is an illustration of the globe with a large red "S" in the middle. Written across the globe is "The Sign of Singer Service Throughout the World". The booklet was copyrighted in 1930 and printed in Canada. The booklet measures 14cm x 21cm.

- Used Machine Bill of Sale - Receipt -- [1929]. Receipt for the selling of a White Sewing machine from Mrs. McNair to the Singer Sewing Machine Company in exchange for money towards a new Singer Sewing Machine. The company paid $45 for the machine on August 27th, 1929. The receipt states that all ownership of the machine was transfered to the Singer Sewing Machine Company. J. Blackman signed as a witness to the transfer. The receipt was printed in 1927.

- Sewing machine receipt for Mary Vida McNair (nee McMillan). Mary was born on April 11 1892 in Vancouver to John McMillan and Elisabeth Morton. She married Thomas Seaborn McNair in 1917. Thomas ran Edwards, McNair and Russell in Vancouver.

- Beach Foundry Limited - Booklet -- [1923]. Christmas advertising gift from the Beach Foundry Limited in Ottawa. The cover of the booklet is possibly made of cellulose with an illistration of a village at winter time and a series of poinsettia and holly. There is a small calendar for the year of 1924 on the right hand side. The booklet is held together with a brad that has "Best Wishes" written on top. The pages in the booklet are a thick cardstock and could be used as an ink blotter. The booklet was produced by The Whitehead & Hoag Co and copyrighted in 1922.

- Transportation Division - Program -- [1950]. Program for the August 6th, 1950 B.C.E.R. and B.C.M.T. picnic for the Transportation Division, All Departments. The picnic was planned at Confederation Park in North Burnaby and started at 11am. The program included the Time of Events along with the Athletic Events of the day. The picnic also advertised Shetland Pony Riding, Favours for the Children, Wading Pool and Playground, and a Rube Band. The back page of the program lists the people involved in the Picnic Committees. Attached to the program with two staples is a newspaper clipping that covered the days events, including mention of "Punch and Judy" which was a puppet show performed by C.Caunt. The program measures 14cm x 21.5cm.

The front of the leaflet has a quote "England Expects Every Man to Do His Duty. Do Yours: Prevent Forest Fires." Above the quote is a cluster of pine branches and cones that have been tinted with colour. The leaflet includes information on forest fire prevention and why BC forests are vital to the empire.
