- The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills,salves, or tonics. Amber glass stopper bottle. Gold-coloured, shield-shaped label under glass (LUG) indicating contents as "CASCARA / SAGRADA". Bottle is empty.
