- Description
- This fruit press or juice squeezer is used to pulp fruit to extract the juice. This heavy, cast iron juicer clamps on a table so that the hand crank is on top and the auger faces down. The auger draws the fruit down and presses it against a sleeve that is a metal strainer. The juice drains out vents in the sides and collects in a ring with a spout that would drain into a bowl. The pulp is forced out the end of the cone at the bottom and is collected in another bowl. Marked "Tutti Frutti" embossed on the clamping part of the machine. "D.R.G.M." "No 198" embossed on the clamping part of machine.
