- Label contains 3 Chinese characters that are literally translated to: "green" "mutually" "son/child". When adjusted for English comprehension, product is: "Semen Celosiae/feather cockscomb". These seeds have a bitter, slightly cold taste. They are used for liver meridian, to clear heat, and improve vision. The seeds can be used to treat blood-shot eyes and eye pain due to excess liver heat, as well as to treat dryness and dim vision due to liver deficiency.
