- Cylindrical yellow cardboard package with green printing on it; bottom and top meet approximately 2/3 of the way up the cylinder; overall appearance of a roll of coins. Artifact is on far left in photograph.

- Label contains characters that are literally translated to: " Liang Pei Ji", the person who made the pill, "feel", "chill", and "pill". When adjusted for English comprehension, product is "Liang Pei Ji malaria pill". The pill is a mix of Western medicine (quinine sulfate), Chinese herbs, and licorice powder. It is used to treat malaria. The product is made by "Liang Pei Ji", who graduated from "Guangzhou Boji medical school in China".
