- Chinese characters on label. Slight discoloration on bottom-right of label. Chinese characters literally translate to: "yellow", "ginger" and "powder". When adjusted for English comprehension, item is tumeric powder. Turmeric root tuber can be found in Zhejiang, Sichuan, Guangxi provinces in China. Actions: Activate blood and alleviate pain, move qi and relieve depression, clear heat and cool blood, promote excretion or bile and remove jaundice. Indications: Pain of chest, hypochondria and abdomen due to qi stagnation and blood stasis; Unconsciousness of heat syndrome and epilepsy; Haematemesis, epistaxis, vicarious menstruation, hematuria, blood stranguria; Damp-heat jaundice, gallbladder stones.
