- The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics. Clear glass stopper bottle, rounded base, with glass stopper. The bottle is empty. Gold, rectangular label under glass (LUG) attached to front, commercially printed, with black text. Smaller red label (LUG) with yellow text is attached below.
