A bottom shelf rests underneath the table and drawers held by the table legs. On top of the desk is a desk pad with a pad of receipts or order form on it. The left inner corner of the desk holds an adding machine. The ledge holds a 4 x 6 framed picture of a sail boat, just above the adding machine and a contraption screwed on the back of the desk that holds a nibbed pen.
