The book series seems to have made their way through some of Jesse Love's daughter's children. Mrs. Whiting. Sarah (Love) Parker, daughter of Jesse Love, even named her daughter Elsie (Parker) Hughes after the main character of the series. The books seem to have made their way through the children and grand children of Annie (Love) and Wallace Whiting. The were donated by Edna Whiting, the daughter in law of Alfred Whiting, one of Annie's sons.
