The second row begins on the far left with Fraser Robertson, with Allen Sharpe second and Edith Frith last (twelfth). The front row begins with Janet Soda on the far right, Patricia Peacock fourth, Eileen Uychara sixth, Jean Gray ninth, Dorothy Graham tenth and Grace MacSorley last (twelfth). There is a sign by the stairs that reads, "ANY PERSON HAVING BUSINESS IN THE SCHOOL MUST APPLY TO PRINCIPAL. NO CANVASSING PERMITTED."
