Clear glass bottle with ground glass stopper. 2/3 full with a white powder and a hand-written paper label. Bottle has a cylindrical shape. The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics.

Jacket shoulder bars issued to Constable George Jeffery. George Jeffery served as a Constable on the Burnaby Police Force from 1912 - 1935. His patrolled the large Central Park District by foot, stretching from Boundary to Royal Oak and Marine Drive to Moscrop. Over the coarse of his duties, Constable Jeffery saw the need for recreational activities in the area. He founded the Burnaby Athletic Association which featured a competitive boxing ring and gym. In 1935, when the Burnaby Police became the British Columbia Provincial Police, rather than leave the community he chose to leave the force. George Jeffery than worked at the nearby Oakalla Prison Farm until retiring in 1945.

These handcuffs were used by Constable George Jeffery. George Jeffery served as a Constable on the Burnaby Police Force from 1912 - 1935. His patrolled the large Central Park District by foot, stretching from Boundary to Royal Oak and Marine Drive to Moscrop. Over the coarse of his duties, Constable Jeffery saw the need for recreational activities in the area. He founded the Burnaby Athletic Association which featured a competitive boxing ring and gym. In 1935, when the Burnaby Police became the British Columbia Provincial Police, rather than leave the community he chose to leave the force. George Jeffery than worked at the nearby Oakalla Prison Farm until retiring in 1945.

A cast iron gauge of the same design as the Atkins excelsior saw tool Co. It is approximately rectangular in shape with three horizontal bands and four vertical supporting pillars. On the top a set screw is present. A notch is present in the base plate held in place with two short slotted screws and with a smaller adjustment screw above. Markings cast into the saw gauge appear to be: On one side: "MORIN" "PAT/69" "JUNE" "S.J." "SEATTLE" On the other side: "SEATTLE" "1900"

Ceramic coffee pot with lid. This serving pot is tall with a tapered, octagonal body. It has a white glaze with pink bands around the top and bottom. There is a floral motif on each side of the top with a smaller floral motif on the lower side to the proper left of the handle. The handle and spout are trimmed in gold and the pink bands are edged with gold borders. The lid is octagonal at the edges and is finished with a tall finial. The inner edge has a deep profile that fits inside the the top of the pot. There is a slot in the profile to allow the coffee to be poured. The edge of the lid has a pink band and a small floral motif. The finial and edge of the band are gold. There are no makers markings on the pot or lid. The gold edging around the top of the pot is worn.

pharmaceutical tin. Tall, rectangular metal tin with square pull-off lid; painted green with black text and design. The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics. Manufactured by "CHOICE / BOTANIC DRUGS / PRESSED / ... / PARKE, DAVIS & CO. / MANUFACTURING CHEMISTS". Original contents labels are painted red with black text. Original contents label on lid reads: "BUCHU LEAVES". Soiled paper label adhered over original contents label on front of tin reads "PREPARED CHALK" in commercially printed black text.

Cylindrical, silver and bronze-coloured, metal vaporizer with circular base. Base features decorative, openwork sides; two open handles; and a rounded opening on one side. Interior contains a raised opening for oil, with a metal screw lid. Rounded shoulder of the base connects to a long, metal tube, attached at an angle and open at the end. Front, right side of the base has an oval-shaped, bronze-coloured, metal label attached, embossed with text and images. Possibly used as a portable Turkish bath or as a bronchitis kettle.
