Rahul Oad, 12, Ryan Bains, 13, and Dorian Brown, 12 are some of the 27 students in Lee McAleese's (r) class who researched and painted representations of actual heritage homes in Burnaby's South Slope neighborhood around their school, and then transformed their drawings and paintings into the 28-panel quilt.
