Caption from metadata: "Grade seven students from Nelson Elementary School get a bird's-eye preview of their South Slope Heritage House Quilt they created, before it is officially unveiled in the foyer of the Bob Prittie Metrotown Library. Rahul Oad, 12, Ryan Bains, 13, and Dorian Brown, 12 are some of the 27 students in Lee McAleese's (r) class who researched and painted representations of actual heritage homes in Burnaby's South Slope neighborhood around their school, and then transformed their drawings and paintings into the 28-panel quilt. It will on display at the library until August 17."
