This programme is a blue 8.5 x 11 folded sheet with black print. The front page shares the details of the play called "The Hidden Guest" presented by The Unity Club and performed by the Edmonds Baptist Young People's Union. It took place at the Edmonds Public Hall on Friday April 26, 1929 at 8:15pm. The Edmonds BYPU Orchestra is listed on the front also. The second and fourth pages are non-illustrated advertisements for local businesses. Page three lists the cast character name and given name, in order of appearance.

This is a stack of yellowed paper with two staples holding it together. The front cover has been torn off, exposing the third page which reads "Cast of Characters", and a full listing of the characters. The name "Grieg" is written in cursive in pencil on this page. The pages are tattered and torn. The back cover has a description of the play "Pollyanna" and "The Charm School", each with a synopsis. It also has the playwright's details: Samuel French 25 West 45th Street, New York City.

Produced by the Metropolitan Pamphlet Series this booklet called Fancy Drills for Evening and Other Entertainments, is a book on changing military drills into performance pieces for women using brooms, fans, hoops and other props. The book provides diagrams and illistrations for the demonstration as well as costume suggestions. The booklet was published by The Butterick Publishing Company in May 1897.

Memorial service program created by Forest Lawn Memorial-Park Association; folded cardstock with illustration of "Church of the Recessional" on front and printed text within in brown ink. Memorial service program for T. Boyd Haskell, born September 7, 1914, died July 5, 1969. Memorial service was held on July 10, 1969 at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park, Glendale, California.
Object History
Item came from a scrapbook documenting the early years of the Simpsons-Sears store located at 3660 Kingsway (after 1959 4750 Kingsway) including the opening day, staff events and other activities that store manager, T. Boyd Haskell was involved in. T. Boyd Haskell was manager of the Burnaby Simpsons-Sears store between 1953 and 1962. After graduating from college, Haskell joined the Sears-Roebuck department store chain. In 1953 he moved to Vancouver from Washington State to set up the new store in Burnaby. In 1962, Haskell left Simpsons-Sears in Burnaby and transferred to the Sears store in Los Angeles. During his time in British Columbia, Haskell served as the President of the Greater Vancouver Tourist Association (1958-1959), President of the Community Chest and Councils of Greater Vancouver (1960) and was also a member of the board of directors of the B.C. Lions football team. Haskell died in Arizona in 1969 at the age of 54 years.

Object History
Program for Girl Guide Pageant taking place in Vancouver in 1929. Program belonged to Dorothy Pitman who was a Girl Guide in the 1st Burnaby Company. She was known to be involved with guiding from 1919 to 1931. Textual records and photographs of the Pitman family, including one of Dorothy and her sister Gwen, are held by the City of Burnaby Archives. Dorothy and Gwen's parents, Ernest and Jean Pitman, owned McKay Dry Goods and Jubilee Dry Goods.

Object History
From Burnaby North Secondary School, Burnaby in the early 1970s. Handmade dollar bills were props in Burnaby North's production of Guys and Dolls. They were drawn by the art students for the musical. Darleane Hewstan was in the concert band, and she remembers the bills been thrown around the stage by the gamblers. One of the student actors in the production, Gerry Martin, played Nathan Detroit, said that the dollar bills were used in the floating crap game.
