Prevent Forest Fires - Leaflet -- [191-?]. Leaflet distributed by the British Columbia Lands Department Forest Service. The front of the leaflet has a quote "England Expects Every Man to Do His Duty. Do Yours: Prevent Forest Fires." Above the quote is a cluster of pine branches and cones that have been tinted with colour. The leaflet includes information on forest fire prevention and why BC forests are vital to the empire. There is also a brief history of the Union Jack and instructions on how to make the flag and hoist the flag. On the centre page is a fold out picture of the Union Jack.

Passport to Burnaby - Leaflet -- [1992]. A commemorative leaflet as part of the Burnaby Centennial Celebration. The goal was to promote travel to host centres to receive a stamp as part of a passport. When all stamps were collected the page could be entered into a draw. Participating Host Centres were C.G. Brown Memorial Swimming Pool, Cameron Recreation Centre, Confederation Centre, Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, Burnaby Municipal Hall, Burnaby Village Museum, Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch, The Burnaby Arts Centre, Still Creek Recycling Depot, and Bonsor Recreation Complex. The passport has been stamped for Burnaby Municipal Hall. The leaflet was produced by the Finance Department and the Centennial Committee. The leaflet measures 28cm x 21.5cm.

Don Copan was an active member of the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee and later became the founding President of the Century Park Museum Association. While a member of the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee, Don created a scrapbook album of photographs and ephemera documenting the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee’s involvement in celebrating British Columbia’s Centenary of Confederation between January and December 1971 including Burnaby’s Commemorative Project – Heritage Village (Burnaby Village Museum).

Description
Capitol and Dominion Theatres - Program -- [1921]. Program or schedule for the shows at Capitol and Dominion Theatres in Vancouver B.C. for the week of July 25, 1921. The front of the program has an illustration of a woman in a yellow gown, black and white wrap and elaborate yellow and white hat. The inside page of the program gives information about the shows for the Capitol Theatre, while the back of the program provides information about the shows for the Dominion Theatre. Both the Capitol and Dominion Theatres were owned by Famous Players Canadian Corp'n Limited. The program was designed and printed by Nicholson Limited.
Object History
Donor's father, Frederick George Gorse, played bassoon in the Capitol Symphony Orchestra, house orchestra at the Capitol Theatre located at 820 Granville Street, Vancouver. The program highlights a solo bassoon performance by Frederick Gorse.
