Summers Trafalgar Supply - Envelope -- [194-?]. Envelope order form for Summers Trafalgar Supply on 4106 Imperial Street, Burnaby, for photography development. The form was for Mrs. Chandler. There is various pencil markings on the envelope along with ink stamps. The back side of the envelope advertises glossy englargements of photographs at Summers Trafalgar Supply, and picture enlargement at The Stride Studios. The envelope measures 17.5cm x 12cm.

War Savings Certificates - Envelope, Form -- [1942]. Form that folds into an envelope for Canadian War Saving Certificates. The form was filled out by Iris Murray who was 15 when the form was completed. The front cover of the form has an illustration of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and a Lion with a boiling pot labelled War Savings, over a fire. Mickey Mouse is stirring the post with a flag pole that has the Union Jack on the top. Donald Duck is fueling the fire with logs labelled Loans. There is a caption under the illustration "KEEP THE POT A-BOILIN'!!!". The illustration was provided courtesy of Walt. Disney. Below the illustration is "Serve by Saving". The envelope is pre addressed to The National Chairmen of the War Savings Committee in Ottawa. Inside the form there are illustrated charts describing the economic situation. The form provides space to affix Saving Stamps where Iris has two stamps placed. The form measures 34.5cm x 17.5cm when folded out.

Brackman-Ker Milling Co - Envelope -- [1901?]. Envelope addressed in ink to "Mr. J. Love" in "City". The envelope was sent by Brackman-Ker Milling Company, Manufacturers and Dealers in Flour, Grain, Meals, Etc on Front Street, New Westminster. There is a green stamp on the top right corner of King Edward VII and a post mark stamp just below "NEW --/ FE 4/ 01/ B.C.". Handwritten in pencil on the reverse side is "Your Father Wants to see you here, J.L.". The envelope measures 14.5cm x 8.5cm.

Jubilee Drug Store - Envelope -- [194-?]. Purchase envelope for photographs from the Jubilee Drug Store. The envelope also acts as a form describing what the customer requested. The form was filled out for a Miss Wray for one roll of film, and for the prints to be glossy. There are various pencil marks on the envelope. Printed on the back of the envelope is "$1.00/ MAKES YOU A MEMBER/ of our/ LENDING LIBRARY/ Change of Book 10c./ LARGE SELECTION OF BOOKS". The envelope measures 16.5cm x 12cm.

Colin Fox served in the 13th Canadian Field Regiment, 44th Canadian Field Battery. In his letter, Colin tells of how he's happy to be back with his regiment after finishing his stay in hospital; thanks May for the chocolates that she sent and how he expects to receive his third stripe which means a raise on top of his Sergeant's pay.

Colin Fox served in the 13th Canadian Field Regiment with the 44th and 78th Canadian Field Battery. In his letter Colin thanks May for the Christmas parcel she sent; how he received a backlog of letters addressed to him at the convalescent hospital; how the boys that landed on D-Day are taking leave in England; describes a Christmas party that his regiment put on for twenty kids in a nearby town and says that he looks forward to a good Christmas dinner provided there isn't any unexpected action.
