- [Duke of Connaught] - Postcard -- [1912]. Postcard with a black and white photograph of the arrival of the Duke of Connaught, then Governor General of Canada. The image was taken at Edmonds and Kingsway with a welcome arch and a banner reading "Burnaby Welcomes You". In the image there is the interurban tram and Edmonds station in the background, surrounded by many onlookers. Verso of postcard includes stamp at top reading: "CANADIAN SOUVENIR POST CARD"; divided into two sections "THIS SPACE FOR CORRESPONDENCE" / "THIS SPACE FOR ADDRESS ONLY"; includes marking to place postage stamp "POSTAGE / ONE CENT / FOR / CANADA / AND U.S. / TWO CENTS / FOR / ABROAD". - Beach Foundry Limited - Booklet -- [1923]. Christmas advertising gift from the Beach Foundry Limited in Ottawa. The cover of the booklet is possibly made of cellulose with an illistration of a village at winter time and a series of poinsettia and holly. There is a small calendar for the year of 1924 on the right hand side. The booklet is held together with a brad that has "Best Wishes" written on top. The pages in the booklet are a thick cardstock and could be used as an ink blotter. The booklet was produced by The Whitehead & Hoag Co and copyrighted in 1922.

This edition is Volume 2, Number 12, from January 1929. The booklet contains Hobo Ballads and Blowsy Humor. The front cover has an illustration of an outhouse at night time. The back cover advertises "Modern Mechanics and Inventions" magazine. The booklet cost 25 cents per edition or $2.50 for the year. The booklet measures 13cm x 19cm.

There is various pencil markings on the envelope along with ink stamps. The back side of the envelope advertises glossy englargements of photographs at Summers Trafalgar Supply, and picture enlargement at The Stride Studios. The envelope measures 17.5cm x 12cm.

- War Savings Certificates - Envelope, Form -- [1942]. Form that folds into an envelope for Canadian War Saving Certificates. The form was filled out by Iris Murray who was 15 when the form was completed. The front cover of the form has an illustration of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and a Lion with a boiling pot labelled War Savings, over a fire. Mickey Mouse is stirring the post with a flag pole that has the Union Jack on the top. Donald Duck is fueling the fire with logs labelled Loans. There is a caption under the illustration "KEEP THE POT A-BOILIN'!!!". The illustration was provided courtesy of Walt. Disney. Below the illustration is "Serve by Saving". The envelope is pre addressed to The National Chairmen of the War Savings Committee in Ottawa. Inside the form there are illustrated charts describing the economic situation. The form provides space to affix Saving Stamps where Iris has two stamps placed. The form measures 34.5cm x 17.5cm when folded out.
