The back, interior and base are painted green.The front face is alternating stripes of four redish orange and three cream paint with the words "TAKE ONE!" printed on the bottom cream stripe. There are holes in each corner for mounting the holder. On the back in pencil is the number "416" possibly from PCC streetcar #416.

- Button pin, round, buff ground with wide brownish red border and green print. Around edge from left, "JULY / AUG / SEPT". Logo below 'AUG', illegible, "LI--HA" ?, then "1920". At bottom is brownish red dot at centre of "U.B.M.W.E.R.S.L." in circle. Pin is paper formed over a metal back and held in place by pressure. Clear coating over front. Back is dark metal with remains of pin clasp closure ?, coil of wire one side, lighter-coloured patch of metal around opening other side. Back is hollow. Manufacturer's stamp, mostly illegible, "--- CO" "--H.N.Y." and hallmark ?. Metal of back is tarnished, some scratches and wear on front.

- Union dues button for the United Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees and Railroad Shop Laborers which was affiliated with the American Federation of Labour. - Anticipating the Modern Trend - leaflet. Advertising leaflet for the Easy Washing Machine Company Limited at 187 Geary Avenue, Toronto Ontario. The leaflet advertises seven new washers and irons. The front cover has a small illustration of a man in a tuxedo and a red haired lady in an evening dress. The leaflet was made for The T. Eaton Company Limited in Winnipeg Canada and was lithographed in Canada. The leaflet measures 8cm x 15.5cm when folded close.

- A brass rod baggage rack composed of 6 longitudinal rods and triangular shaped end supports. There are two brackets at the back of each end support with two screw holes in each. A hook extends down from each end bracket at the back. Four cross members spaced evenly along the rack provide support for the 6 rods which pass through them. A piece of blue tape on an end bracket has stamped "BCER 1232-B65".

- A brass handle which has a vertical sleeve at the end with a tapered square hole in it. On the underside is cast in smaller type " C-7414" although the last "4" is suspect. Stamped in the same location is larger type "C 8173".
- Object History
- Used as a key for a street car controller handle. This key was used to activate the street car and moved up or down make it go backwards or forwards. The tram could not move without its key.

- A wooden frame containing a report printed on paper. A spare backing board accompanies the frame. The frame is painted a cream colour and has a hole on each side. At the top of the certificate is "MONTHLY POWER UNIT INSPECTION AND REPAIR REPORT" with the number "40256" on the left. The report is for a BCER electric locomotive Number 992 dated May 11, 1955. There are 17 entries which are filled in for the report. Length: 27.4 cm Width: 19.7 cm Thickness: 1.7 cm
