Lotus Plumule refers to the green spire and radicle in the middle of the mature seeds of lotus, (Nelumbo nucifera). This green germ within the mature lotus seeds are traditionally used as a Chinese folklore remedy to clear heart fire and prevent seminal emission. - Word for word translation is as follows; flower; flag; ginseng. This has been adjusted for English comprehension to "American ginseng". This is a different herb from (Chinese) ginseng. The root of the perennial herbaceous plant Panax quinquefolium L. of the family Araliaceae. Mainly produced in U. S. A. and Canada. Cultivated in Beijing city, Jiling and Liaoning provinces in China also. American Ginseng to be more yin – meaning it is used to reduce 'heat' in the body. When adjusted to English translation, product is "flos campsis." Flos campsis is a type of flower that can be found in Central China. It blooms in summer and autumn. In traditional Chinese medicine, it helps to cool blood to remove stasis as well as to cure irregular menstruation and rubella. It can provide a good treatment to itchy skin and acne.
