- Item consists of a typewritten air mail letter from Sergeant Colin Rhodes Fox of the Royal Canadian Artillery Service to his aunt Marianne "May" Bateman while serving overseas during World War II. Colin Fox served in the 13th Canadian Field Regiment with the 44th and 78th Canadian Field Battery. In his letter, Colin thanks May for her last letter; he tells of how he's been in touch with his younger brother Allan who is unhappy that he's too young to go overseas; wonders about the war in Japan and whether he'll volunteer after the war is over in Europe; he conveys that he is part of the Third Division and that they are going to get a new insignia patch with a rat in the centre due to their division nickname "the water rats" resulting from time spent fighting in the flooded areas.

He tells of how he's going on leave again this month and thanks his aunt for gifts that she sent.

- Photograph of the exterior of a store on the ground floor of a two-storey building, with a sign painted on the front face of the second floor. It reads, "A. MacKenzie & Co / Jubilee Store." There are two men in suits standing out in front of the display windows that show stacks of boxes and cans. The lot around the building looks vacant, but fenced. There is a wagon drawn by a team of two horses parked or travelling towards the store on the right side of the photograph. The store was owned by Alexander MacKenzie, (1870-1949) who arrived in Vancouver in 1907. There is a discrepancy in the date of the photograph; the accession register dates the photograph 1909 while the donation form signed by the donor dates all the photographs in the accession as 1907 or 1908. Annotations on the bottom front of the card mount read: "Ralph Libby" and "Vancouver B.C." This store later became the Matheson and Sons Market.

- Royal Bank of Canada - Bank Book -- [192-]. Red covered bankbook from the Royal Bank of Canada Savings Department. The account number written on the front is "F1008". Stamped on the first page of the book is "1st Bn. Seaforth Highlanders of Canada/ TRUST A/C" and "Vancouver , B.C.". All the pages of the bank book are filled starting at March 1920, ending at December 1920. The bank book measures 7.5cm x 12cm.

- Cylindrical veneer mushroom spawning barrel. The wood has been shaped to make the barrel. There is a base and rim around the top and bottom of the barrel, stapled to hold it together. There are a number of stains, discolourations, ink, and evidence of past mold. There is also a lid with a metal ring afixed to it. The lid has the name "Stiglish" handwritten with a circled number "2". In black ink, a stamp reads: Fraser Valley Mush Grow.Co-op Assn.265 E. Georgia St. Vancouver, B.C. Canada"

- Trophy, silver cup with handle either side, mounted on polished round wooden base; on cup front, "BURNABY SCHOOL LEAGUE BASEBALL TROPHY" "PRESENTED FOR PERPETUAL COMPETITION BY ALFRED W. MCLEOD LTD." "NEW WESTMINSTER AND VANCOUVER, B.C." "1925"; A strip of polished metal is mounted around the circumference of the wood base. I has the names of the trophy recipients engraved on it. It is divided into five sections by engraved lines, each headed "WINNER"; centre section "1925 GILMORE AVENUE" "1926 NELSON AVENUE" "1927 NELSON AVENUE"; other sections are blank ; The cup and strip are tarnished

- British Columbia Driver's Licence - License -- [1928]. Driver's Licence issued to Jean Caldwell Thompson on August 8, 1928. The front cover has the Provincial Coat of Arms and the issue number for the licence "No. 144650". The fee for obtaining the licence was $1. It states that "The Licence Must Be Carried With You At All Times When Driving". Inside provides detailed information about Jean and rules and regulations to driving. The address given for Jean was "General Hospital Vancouver". The license has been stamped by the Provincial Police in Vancouver, B.C. and signed by Superintendent of the Provincial Police E. McArthur. The licence measures 6.5cm x 10cm.

- Photograph of a BC Electric Railway Company Observation car, full of people and conducted by "Teddy" Lyons. The car number is 124, and a sign on the rear end of the car reads, "See Vancouver / Two Hour / Trip / Fare 35c." The photograph was probably taken prior to 4:00 pm, as there are signs hanging on the car by the conductor that read, "Extra Trip / 7:00 PM" and "Next Trip / 4:00 PM." There are restaurants and various stores which line the street by the tracks in the background. The caption printed on the front bottom of the photo reads, "B.C. Electric Rly. Co. Observation Car, Vancouver. / "Teddy" Lyons, Conductor. Harry Bullen Photo. 2608 Gran. Bayview 8869." Stamped on the back of the photo is "Vancouver, B.C. Jul 22 1934."

- Francis & Day's 38th Annual - Music Booklet -- [1918]. Music book produced by Francis and Day containing 17 songs for piano and vocals and has tonic sol-fa settings. The front cover has a picture of Miss Clarice Mayne. There is green cloth tape along the binding of the book. At the top of the cover it states that "THIS BOOK MUST NOT BE EXPORTED FOR SALE IN AMERICA, CANADA AND AUSTRALASIA". The booklet is stamped "Fred R. Weaver MUSIC DEPT. D. SPENCER LTD. VANCOUVER, B.C."
