- File consists of images and selected contents from a scrapbook with 38 double sided pages containing mostly photographs with some newspaper clippings, written material and emphemera including a page of badges and ribbons which reads "Enrolment & Membership Card of / Joan Bailey 1926 / 1st Burnaby" and an embroidered alphabet of the Morse Code. The third page of the scrapbook includes a four page chronology titled "History of Guiding - Burnaby / 1913 - 1960" compiled by Mrs. Dolly Weber, Mrs. J. Heaps, Miss Eileen Periton, Mrs. J. Albertson and D. Fowler. - History
- Photographers Richard H. Trueman and Norman Caple operated out of Vancouver between 1891 and 1894. The photographers worked between Winnipeg and the west coast of Canada specializing in mountain and railway views, ranch scenes and Indigenous peoples. In 1890, two companies started building electric rail; the Westminster and Vancouver Tramway Co., which undertook the ambitious project of building the first real interurban line from New Westminster to Vancouver, and the Westminster Street Railway. By April 20, 1891, both companies merged to form the Westminster and Vancouver Tramway Company. Streetcar service began in June 1891, travelling on twelve miles of track between New Westminster and eastern Vancouver and running through Burnaby. The line was taken over by the B.C. Electric Railway Company in 1897 until the line was closed in October 1953.

- Mary Davis and her mother Edith Finney walking hand and hand down a busy commercial street.
- History
- Mary Davis was born February 3, 1910 in Stafford, England to Sam and Edith Finney and came to Canada as a child. Her family settled in Saskatchewan. She married her first husband, Clifford Reynolds Hamilton in 1940 in Rossland BC and was subsequently divorced in 1949 in Vancouver BC. She moved to Burnaby somtime between 1940 and the mid-1950's. Mary owned Davis Confectionary with her second husband (presumably named Davis) at the corner of Beresford and MacPherson. The store acted as a grocery store and also a drug store. Mary and her husband owned the store in the 1950's /1960's. Mary passed away in 2001, and had no children. Photograph was taken by famous Vancouver street photographer Foncie Pulice. Foncie began working as a street photographer in 1934 and retired in 1979. Foncie died in 2003.
