Round wooden handrail painted brown with a brass mounting bracket on each end. The brackets have four screw holes for mounting. Each end of the handle is attached to the bracket via a copper pin which passes through the handle and bracket. Painted in white paint on the handle is "BCER 1222 B1"'

Photograph of BC Electric Interurban tram car number 1223 being lifted by a crane and placed on a flatbed truck. The interurban tram car was dedicated and placed at the Edmonds Bus Loop at Edmonds Street and Kingsway by the Burnaby Historical Society in 1958. The tram car was moved to Heritage Village Museum in 1971 and restored by the Friends of the Interurban 1223.
