Description
Kerosene blow torch. Works under pressure from a pump in the body of the torch. Wooden handle. Markings are obliterated by abrasions and soot. Body was originally painted a bronze gold - see underneath.

Empty rectangular amber glass (brown) bottle with cork stopper. Commercial paper label indicating "40 / Lyolith Tablets / (Tabella Lyolitha Stenhouse) / Gall Stone Remedy / Formula of / Dr. John Stnehouse / Each tablet contains: / Potass. Salicylate, 1 1-2 grs. / Potassium Citrate, 1-2 gr. / Sodium Glyco and / Tauro-cholate, 1 1-2 grs. / Sodium Oleate, 1 1-2 grs. / Phenophthalein, 1-3 gr. / Menthol, 1-10 gr. / LYOLITH are best taken / at bedtime and on rising, / or after each meal, one or / two as may be prescribed / by physician, followed / by a large glass of hot / water. / H.K.WAMPOLE&CO. / LIMITED / PERTH, ONTARIO." Description
Portable kerosene furnace. Presure tank base with pump. A cast iron oven with an open front to receive soldering irons is mounted on top of the tank. A wire bail handle is attached to the top of the furnace and there is a round lid on top of the oven to give access to the heating coils.
