Beading machine. Metal handle with gears which roll together. Vice at bottom to attach to table. "The Brown boggs Co. Limited Makers, Hamilton , Ontario" Has three sets of beading dies (three pairs) single bead, triple bead and ogee.
Object History
Tinsmith's turning machine. Designed to turn a burred edge on a piece of sheet metal. The base clamps on to a bench and the machine head is secured to the base by a set screw. A hand crank turns two forming wheels which shape the metal between them.

Reeder & Walsh's Fourth Comic Annual - Music Booklet -- [192-?]. Music book produced by Reeder & Walsh of a compilation of 16 songs for piano and vocals. The charts also provide tonic sol-fa settings. The front cover has the table of contents on the right side and an illustration of a man sitting in a tree wearing a top hat and holding a book on the left. Below the tree are two farmers commenting on the years crop. There is a castle in the background of the picture.

Donor inherited object from neighbour/friend, Donald Campbell, when he passed away "several years" prior. No records found on original owner.

Description
This fruit press or juice squeezer is used to pulp fruit to extract the juice. This heavy, cast iron juicer clamps on a table so that the hand crank is on top and the auger faces down. The auger draws the fruit down and presses it against a sleeve that is a metal strainer. The juice drains out vents in the sides and collects in a ring with a spout that would drain into a bowl. The pulp is forced out the end of the cone at the bottom and is collected in another bowl. Marked "Tutti Frutti" embossed on the clamping part of the machine. "D.R.G.M." "No 198" embossed on the clamping part of machine.
