Leading the parade is a flower girl, followed by the May Queen, then the rest of the suite, each escorted by a man in a suit. There are two union jacks flying behidn the stage, and crowds are gathered around the stage to watch the parade of the May Queen Suite. Inscribed in the negative and printed on the photograph, bottom front: "13 / May Day Celebration / Burnaby, B.C., May 26th, 1934 / Stride Studios Photo."

She wrote that she received a picture of the New Westminster or Burnaby May Day celebrations each year.

Photograph of Burnaby Municipal Hall decorated for the visit of Lord Willingdon in 1928. Along the steps leading to the main entrance are women in ranger uniforms holding Union Jacks on poles. Lord Willingdon and other dignitaries are standing in front of the entrance. The doorway is decorated with a sign that reads, "WELCOME TO BURNABY LORD WILLINGDON" There is a woman climbing up the steps towards Lord Willingdon. Lord Willingdon was Canada's Governor General at that time. The photographer is speculated to be Lloyd studio, because of the similarity with the photograph HV977.17.15 of Lord Willingdon's visit by Lloyd studio

The photographs in the accession HV976.143 are thought to be by the Stride studio, as the donor indicated in her letter that the Stride family were personal friends of her great-aunt and her husband, who resided in Edmonds. She wrote that she received a picture of the New Westminster or Burnaby May Day celebrations each year.
