- The photographs in the accession HV976.143 are thought to be by the Stride studio, as the donor indicated in her letter that the Stride family were personal friends of her great-aunt and her husband, who resided in Edmonds. She wrote that she received a picture of the New Westminster or Burnaby May Day celebrations each year.

It was dedicated to Municipal employees who died in the War. At the right is Dora Wilcox, daughter of Ernest Wilcox who was killed on the Somme in 1916. She unveiled the fountain. In 1974, this memorial was relocated from its original setting to the site of the Burnaby Village Museum on Deer Lake Avenue.

- Photograph of the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee at Central Park. The event was held on July 2, 1927 with a parade from the Municipal Hall at Edmonds along Kingsway to Central Park. Memorial services for those who died in the Great War were held at the Municipal Hall and the Memorial Hall, Royal Oak. Shown in this photograph is MP Leon Ladner addressing the crowd. Also on the dais are: ex-Reeve J.W. Weart, ex-Reeve T. Sanderson, Reeve Bennett (Vancouver), Councillor Grimmett (Vancouver), Councillor Hall (Vancouver), Councillor Buckingham (South Vancouver), Burnaby's May Queen and suite, and Miss Jean Cameron as "Miss Canada."
