- Orange rectangular paper label with 3 Chinese characters in black. Text literally translates to English as: "means to be born/raw" and "means horse" and "means front". This has been adjusted for English comprehension to: "Raw Semen Strychni". Uses: Raw Semen Strychni is the mature seeds of Strychnine tree, also known as Nux Vomica. The strychnine tree is a deciduous tree native to India, and southeast Asia. It taste bitter, cold, strongly toxic; is for liver and spleen meridians. Mainly to activate blood and remove meridian obstruction, alleviate pain, dissipate nodulation and resolve swelling. Treat sore throat, abscess and other inflammation and swelling, arthritis paralysis pain, bone fracture, facial palsy, myasthenia gravis.
