Seton Academy operated out of the mansion known as "Overlynn" in the Burnaby Heights area. The main residence was built in 1907 as a private home. The school was built in 1954 and functioned as a private school and convent. Following the closure of the school, Action Line Housing Society purchased the property and developed it into a senior citizens housing and care facility. As there was a delay in obtaining government grants, Seton was briefly leased out to Simon Fraser University to the cover mortgage and maintenance.
