Description: ribbon, Trefoil Guild; purple satin ribbon with "TREFOIL GUILD" printed on it in gold. Ten (10) lapel pins are attached: 1) Original trefoil pin with red banner, 2) BP pin, 3) World pin, 4) Thank-you badge (silver ring around blue enamel Trefoil with three white enamel swirls), 5) Long Service badges for 20, 50, 55 and 60 years, 6) Division Commissioner (red enamel trefoil) and 7) Silver Commissioner Pin (silver with blue enamel trefoil and ring, beaver at bottom) on cloth Commissioner Lapel Badge

Object History: Note from donor: These items belonged to Eleanor Galbraith, a longtime Guider who came to B.C. from New Brunswick. The “Trefoil Guild” ribbon was an official ribbon that could be worn to vertically display Guiding pins and badges. The ribbon is no longer used. 1) Original Trefoil Guild pin with red banner (poss. awarded to Eleanor in New Brunswick), 2) BP pin (100th anniversary of Baden-Powell’s birthday – an earned pin), 3) World pin, 4) Thank-you badge (silver ring around blue enamel Trefoil with three white enamel swirls - poss. a thank-you from New Brunswick), 5) Long Service badges for 20, 50, 55 and 60 years - 50, 55 & 60 years awarded here (55 & 60 were awarded by Pauline Hall herself) – all earned pins) 6) Division Commissioner (red enamel trefoil) – an earned pin & poss. given in New Brunswick (it is older than the pin removed from the white camp hat that was not retained) 7) Silver Commissioner Pin (silver with blue enamel trefoil and ring, beaver at bottom) on cloth Commissioner Lapel Badge (silver ribbon of courage tied into reef knot, text “GIRL GUIDES” and outline in white stitching.) - cloth badge poss. to indicate Provincial Commissioner - this pin and cloth badge were removed from the bottom of the ribbon due to excessive weight.

Description: Medal ribbon bar with 6 medals. Medals from left to right:; Distinguished Flying Cross: Silver cross, the vertical arms of the cross has the image of airplane propellers. The horizontal arms of the cross have wings. In the centre of the cross is a circle with a crown on top and "RAF" in the centre. The reverse has the Royal Cypher in the centre "GVI" and 1918. Engraved at the bottom of the cross is 1945. The ribbon is white and purple stripes on the diagonal.; 1939-1945 Star: Six pointed star, the obverse has a design of the Royal and Imperial cypher below a crown. The cypher is surrounded by the text "The 1939 - 1945 Star". The ribbon consists of three equal stripes of light blue, red, and dark blue; France and Germany Star: Six pointed star, the obverse has a design of the Royal and Imperial cypher below a crown. Object History: Item belonged to Joseph “Joe” Hardcastle Cumberland Corsbie who served as a Navigator for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) between 1942 and 1945. Description: Bodice and underskirt, c.1895. Black wool bodice, black silk taffeta underskirt. Black satin trim, leg o' mutton sleeves, standing collar, embroidery on bodice. At the back of the standing collar there is a bow in satin ribbon. At the front of the bodice, there is a section of gathered fabric at either side of the centre front closure decorated with black floral embroidery. At the edge of the right front there is a pleated ruffle of satin ribbon. The embroidered section is also bordered by a satin ribbon on each side. The sleeves are heavily gathered at the sleeve cap, creating large leg o' mutton sleeves. They taper down to the wrists, which also have some of the same embroidery as the centre front bodice, just before the cuffs. The cuffs do not have an opening. At the back of the bodice, there is no decoration. The waistband consists of a twisted satin ribbon with a bow at centre front and centre back. Inside, the bodice is lined with beige linen. It has eight bones one the front and back. The underskirt is made of undecorated lightweight silk taffeta, and may be a petticoat instead of an underskirt. It has a grosgrain waistband with built in stays, five gores, and one dart for shaping. It does not close at its regular opening, but rather folds over to close via a snap further along the waistband.
