- Clear glass bottle with ground glass stopper. 2/3 full with a white powder and a hand-written paper label. Bottle has a cylindrical shape. The item is a bulk product stocked by a pharmacy. Up until the 1950s, pharmacists provided most prescription medications by creating compounds of bulk products that were given to customers as pills, salves, or tonics.
