- Photograph of members of the Love family kneeling in a strawberry field. Left to right: Jesse Love (father), Leonard, Phoebe, Martha, Minnie, Martha Love (mother), and Sarah. The small building at the extreme left of the picture was George Love's (oldest of the Love's children) first sash and door outlet. He later built Love's Sash and Door Factory on the south side of Edmonds Street just west of 6th Street. The original farm was located in East Burnaby, on Cumberland Road. In 1988, this house was moved to the site of the Burnaby Village Museum at Deer Lake Avenue.

- medallion; round, gold-coloured metal; suspended from a horizontal bar shaped as a three link chain; front has the numeral "40" set into a dark blue enamel circle, inside a white enamel six-pointed star, inside a red enamel six-armed gear-type shape; back has engraved text reading: "Presented to / BRO. W.M PARKER, P.G. / IN / ROYAL CITY LODGE No 3 / I.O.O.F. / MARCH 27, 1944 / NEW WESTMINSTER / BRITISH COLUMBIA / 14-59 / PLATED". This is a Veteran's Jewel for a continuous membership in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.). A brother with 40 years of continuous membership would receive this.

- Track 1: This portion of the recording pertains to Albert’s family background and how his family came to live in the Love house. He mentions the house on Newcombe Street where he was born and recalls that his family moved to the Love family farmhouse on Cumberland Road in Burnaby to live with his grandfather after his grandmother’s death. Albert notes that his family purchased the house and property after Jesse Love’s death and continued living in it. He describes the house’s amenities and changes which were made to it. Elsie Hughes is the daughter of William and Sarah Parker and granddaughter of Jesse and Martha Love. Elsie married John Malcolm Hughes at St. Alban's Church in Burnaby on April 9, 1942. Elsie and Jim discuss the furnishings, decoration and amenities of the house at the time she moved into it in 1925 with her family. Elsie’s recollections were to be used as a resource for redecorating and refurnishing the house as it was in 1925 for its use as an exhibit at the Burnaby Village Museum. An unidentified man is also present, and sometimes contributes to the conversation.
