- medallion; gold-coloured, with a gold and light blue ribbon and a straight clasp; small white and light blue enamelled dogwood pin secured to ribbon; medallion has B.C. 1971 Centennial logo on the front (three c's back to back with a dogwood in the centre), with text reading: "British Columbia Centennial '71 Pioneer". British Columbia coat of arms on the back, with text reading: "Province of British Columbia Canada".

- medallion; round, gold-coloured metal; suspended from a horizontal bar shaped as a three link chain; front has the numeral "40" set into a dark blue enamel circle, inside a white enamel six-pointed star, inside a red enamel six-armed gear-type shape; back has engraved text reading: "Presented to / BRO. W.M PARKER, P.G. / IN / ROYAL CITY LODGE No 3 / I.O.O.F. / MARCH 27, 1944 / NEW WESTMINSTER / BRITISH COLUMBIA / 14-59 / PLATED". This is a Veteran's Jewel for a continuous membership in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.). A brother with 40 years of continuous membership would receive this.

- History
- Photograph is from the Love farmhouse. The house was lived in by generations of the Love family. Jesse and Martha Love's daughter, Sarah Love married William Parker and their daughter, Elsie (later Hughes) is the donor's mother. The objects were in the house when the donor lived in the house.
