The house is sitting on posts above the ground with the left side filled in with wood siding. William Parker is seated on the left and holding a dog. William Michael Parker and Sarah Maria Love were married in 1913 and built this house located at 1390 Newcombe Road. The couple lived there until 1927 when they moved into the Love farmhouse at 1390 Cumberland Road. Albert Parker was born in this house in 1915.

- Track 8: This portion of the recording pertains to the upper floor of the Love family farmhouse. Albert talks about the bathroom his father installed and describes the bedrooms. Albert and Jim discuss the heating system.

- Recording is an interview with Albert Parker about the Love family house, which was his family’s home and which has been relocated to the Burnaby Village Museum site as an exhibit. He also briefly discusses his parents, William Parker and Sarah Love Parker, his siblings William and Elsie, and his grandfather Jesse Love.

- Photograph of the rear of the Love farmhouse surrounded by a large snow bank. There are icicles hanging from the rooftop of the main house and kitchen porch. In 1928 after Sarah Parker's father, Jesse Love died, William and Sarah (nee Love) Parker purchased the Love farmhouse located at 1390 Cumberland Road. They lived there until 1961, with their three children; Albert, Bill and Elsie. Jesse and Martha Love were the orignal owners of the house where they raised eleven children.
