Don Copan was an active member of the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee and later became the founding President of the Century Park Museum Association. While a member of the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee, Don created a scrapbook album of photographs and ephemera documenting the Burnaby Centennial ’71 Committee’s involvement in celebrating British Columbia’s Centenary of Confederation between January and December 1971 including Burnaby’s Commemorative Project – Heritage Village (Burnaby Village Museum).

Table of War Gases - Booklet -- [1942]. Short informative booklet about war gases, how to recognize them, what to do when gassed and first aid treatment. The booklet was compiled by the Scientific Adviser on Chemical Warfare for the Office of the Director of Civil Air Raid Precautions in accordance with the Minister of Pensions and National Health. The pamphlet was printed by Edmond Cloutier "Printer to the King's Most Excellent Majesty" in 1942. The booklet measures 13cm x 21.5cm.

Item was referred to by Harry Charles Cutress who was a volunteer with the Burnaby Air Raid Precautions unit in South Burnaby during the 1940s.

The Jesse and Martha Love Farmhouse - Leaflet -- [1998]. Information leaflet for the opening of the Jesse and Martha Love farmhouse. The front of the leaflet has a sepia toned photograph of Jesse Love standing in front of the garden, Martha Love and one of their daughters standing on the porch of the house. Inside, there is a picture of the reproduced wallpaper and information regarding the house. On the back of the leaflet is the City of Burnaby logo for Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services.
