Photograph of two trucks parked outside of the Canadian National Railway station in Vancouver (Main Street and Terminal Avenue). There are four unidentified men standing by the trucks. The trucks are loaded with boxes, and have banner signs which advertise Goodyear Wingfoot Rubber Heels for Denby Brothers and Company, located 168 Pender St. W. The signs read: "16 Tons of Goodyear Wingfoot Rubber Heels" and "Ask for them by Name / Wingfoot." The trucks have signs that read "Johnston Storage Co. Ltd." Inscribed in the negative and printed on photograph, front, lower right: "5938." Stamped on the back of the photo: "Leonard Frank / Photographic Artist / 553 Granville St. / Bay. 1029 Vancouver, B.C."

An accompanying note identifies the photograph as: Emerson Doran and Murdoch McMurray who owned Edmonds Wood and Coal Yard situated at Kingsway and Edmonds. They are standing beside their TRAFFIC truck which is loaded with cordwood about to be hauled from the Capitol Hill School grounds to the Edmonds Street School for use in heating the school. Edmonds Wood Yard had a contract with the Burnaby schools at this time to supply cordwood.
