´╗┐Elsie Dawkins Norman Elsie Dawkins was a toddler of two and her brother, Bert, was six when their family moved to a stump ranch in the Burnaby Lake area in 1919. The $700 property with a house of sorts was on Balfour (now Atlee Avenue) just off the intersection of Douglas Road and Spruce Street
