- Description
- Small, rectangular cardboard box with flap openings on either end. The box is brown with an orange and dark blue label on all six sides. The box contains a small, clear glass stopper bottle with a similar orange and blue paper label. The bottle has no stopper and contains thin, brown pieces of material.

- "TOOTHACHE GUM / Prepared for MITCHELL'S DRUG STORE / Hastings and Clinton St., VANCOUVER, B.C." printed in dark blue and brown on rectangular orange label on front face of box. Enclosed by dark blue rectangular design. Same text is printed on opposite side in French. "DIRECTIONS - Clean tooth cavity / and insert a piece of the gum. If no / cavity apply to the gum as a plaster. / Each ounce contains oil cloves, beechwood creosote, wax, petrolatum base and acid carbolic 38 1-2%" printed on left and right sides in French and English. Also, enclosed by dark blue, rectangular design. Bottle features same paper label, dark blue text on orange and discoloured white label, in French and English.
