An earlier catalogue record from 1988 notes that the view is of Kingsway looking east from Willingdon Avenue towards the community of McKay and Kingsway. It also notes that the McKay Block is visible on the far right side of the photograph at McKay Avenue and Kingsway. The record dates the negative ca. 1914.
