- Small, rectangular, red, metal tin with hinged lid and rounded corners. Plastic seal encases tin, item never opened, contains original tablets. Labels are printed in black and white on red background.

"FOR CONDITIONS CAUSED BY OR / ASSOCIATED WITH CONSTIPATION" printed in white on black at top of base label. Directions for use and risks printed in black at centre. "LEWIS-HOWE COMPANY / ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI - U.S.A." printed in white on black at bottom of label. Sides of tin are patterned with "NR" symbol in white.
