Description
Jubilee Drug Store - Envelope -- [194-?]. Purchase envelope for photographs from the Jubilee Drug Store. The envelope also acts as a form describing what the customer requested. The form was filled out for a Miss Wray for one roll of film, and for the prints to be glossy. There are various pencil marks on the envelope. Printed on the back of the envelope is "$1.00/ MAKES YOU A MEMBER/ of our/ LENDING LIBRARY/ Change of Book 10c./ LARGE SELECTION OF BOOKS". The envelope measures 16.5cm x 12cm.

envelope; Jubilee Drug Store [192-?]. Film developing envelope from the Jubilee Drug Store. The envelope is made out to Miss. Perry for one roll of film to be developed in glossy prints. Printed text in black ink on back of envelope reads: "$1.00 / MAKES YOU A MEMBER / of our / LENDING LIBRARY / Change of Book 10c. / LARGE SELECTION OF BOOKS".

From John Edward Perry, son of George Douglas Perry (1891-1979) and Katie Rist (1893-1979), who lived on Frederick Avenue in Burnaby.

Description
Rectangular, cardboard box, missing top closing flap. The box is brown with a green label with blue, commerically printed text, on all four long sides. Box contains thin, white medicinal tube, with black, plastic screw cap. Tube features similar paper label, commerically printed, as the above described box. End of tube is worn and discoloured.

Back of box features the same label, printed in French, without the ingredient list or location of the pharmacy. "A safe and efficient remedy for internal and external / piles, in the treatment of which disease, healthy and reg- / ular action of the bowels, careful selection of diet and / avoidance of sedentary life are essential factors." printed in blue on green background, in French and English, on left and right side labels. The oiment tube features the same English and French labels, blue text on green paper label, on the back and front of the tube.
