ofthe wagon and tied on with ropes. Four horses were required to draw the wagon.
I rode on top ofthe load. We arrived just before dark as it was up and down hill on
roads full ofchuckholes

he called an "Old Fahrt" stick. He could also be considered an adept naturalist in that he is able
to give detailed information on many of the animals and plants
