- Description
- Part of the 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel. Carousel horse No. 32, "The Colonel." Roached mane "Jumper," back legs extended, front legs slightly bent, erect neck, head and nose forward, ears back, facing to the side, mouth open. Colour: Buckskin. Trappings: Dark green stippled saddle and fender, edged in bronze. Gordon Setter dog head back of the cantle. White blanket edged in dark green. Lower blanket is orange red edged in bronze. White breast collar edged in green with dark green neck collar, edged in bronze. Orange red bridle with bronze concho.
- Object History
- This artifact was acquired by Keith Jamieson, and purchased from him by The Friends of the Carousel. It had originally been part of a Parker carousel in Texas, and now serves in place of "Old Paint" on No. 119.
