- History
- Evelina Ettinger was born on August 8, 1891 in Port Kells to James Ettinger and Martha Hembrough. The family was living on 19th Avenue in the Edmonds neighbourhood of Burnaby at the time of her birth. Evelina later worked as a clerk until her marriage to Donald Digby, an electrician and truck driver, in 1930. She died in 1976.

- Photograph of a house identified as belonging to Mr. Patterson. There is a discrepancy as to which Mr. Patterson the house belongs to. The accession register suggests the house is D.C. Patterson's house, while the inscription on the photograph suggests it is B. (Bruce) Patterson's. The house is two storeys tall, with a balcony on the second floor. There are long cloth blinds on the second floor windows, and two people on the balcony. One of them (identified as B. Patterson) is holding the lower cloth blinds. There is a foot path lined with rocks winding around the house. There is also a discrepancy as to where the house is located. The inscription suggests the house was at Patterson Avenue, while the catalogue record suggests that the house was in the Edmonds area. An annotation on the back of the photo reads: "B. Patterson's 1st house at Patterson Ave: holding lower cloth blinds."

- File consists of images and selected contents from a scrapbook with 38 double sided pages containing mostly photographs with some newspaper clippings, written material and emphemera including a page of badges and ribbons which reads "Enrolment & Membership Card of / Joan Bailey 1926 / 1st Burnaby" and an embroidered alphabet of the Morse Code. The third page of the scrapbook includes a four page chronology titled "History of Guiding - Burnaby / 1913 - 1960" compiled by Mrs. Dolly Weber, Mrs. J. Heaps, Miss Eileen Periton, Mrs. J. Albertson and D. Fowler. The boys are wearing mostly patterned sweaters, with cardigans or pullovers. Only a few have ties under V-neck pullovers. Their hair is short and swept to one side. An earlier catalogue record from 1976 and a signed gift form from the donor identify this photograph as a class at Edmonds Street School. Inscribed on the negative and printed on the lower right of the photograph: "9."

An earlier catalogue record from 1976 and a signed gift form by donor identify the photograph as Edmonds Street School. Inscribed on the negative, and printed on the lower right corner of the photograph: "Bridgman / Vancouver." Annotations in pencil on the back of the photograph read, "Helen Sutherland" and "Miss Mc," and an annotation in blue pen reads, "1922."
