An electric sign reads, "Rexall Drugs." A dog can be seen at the bottom of the photograph. An accompanying letter describes the photo as "Dad with Mother and Aunt Betty. They had just walked back from Kingsway after seeing the King and Queen pass - 1937 [sic; the royal visit was in 1939]."

Description
Family First Aid - Instructional Wheel. Two cardboard disks which rotate to reveal various first aid instruction for various ailments from Sun Stroke, Cuts, Burns and Gun Shots. The smaller inside disk is red with "FAMILY FIRST AID" written across the top. The instructional wheel was distributed by McKay Drugs at 4038 Kingsway, New Westminster. Although the wheel states that the pharmacy was in New Westminster, the address is actually in Burnaby. Wm. W. Saxton was the Pharmacist at the time of distribution. The wheel measures 15.5cm across.

retail display cabinet or dispensing cabinet; wood slat construction (1/4 in. or 063 cm) with paper product labeling over top. Paper product labelling is in colour. Six drawers with small metal pull-rings. Original labeling appears to be for "Bauer & Black" brands of plasters and dressings, but other labels have been placed over the orginal markings in some places.
